WOMEN. WE'RE FUNNY

I started Queen City Sketch in early 2021 as an opportunity for Denver female & femme identifying actors, writers and filmmakers to self-produce work and build resumes. As a theatre actor, I found that decent, well produced reel footage was hard to obtain, making it difficult to apply for film jobs. Most of my actor friends agreed. Creating a sketch comedy YouTube channel seemed like an efficient way to capture a variety of performances, and try out directing and producing.

A year later, the incredible people of Queen City Sketch comedy have created a full season of work spearheaded by an almost entirely female cast, crew, writers, directors and producers. I am very proud of this incredible group of creators.
